Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started
- First Fit: Upon first wearing, ensure the boots feel snug but not uncomfortably tight. The fit should secure your foot without excessive pressure points.
- Break-in: These boots may require a brief break-in period. Wear them during a few light training sessions or casual kickabouts to allow the materials to adapt to your foot's unique shape for optimal comfort and performance.
Compatibility
- Playing Surfaces: The FG/MG outsole is specifically engineered for Firm Ground (FG) natural grass pitches and Artificial Grass (MG) surfaces. Using these boots on soft ground (SG) or indoor courts (IC) is not recommended as it can compromise performance, lead to discomfort, and potentially damage the soleplate or studs.
- Player Suitability: Designed for male players seeking a balance of control, agility, and durability in their football footwear.
Care and Maintenance
Adhering to these care instructions will help maintain your boots' performance and extend their lifespan:
- Post-Match Cleaning: After every use, gently remove mud and debris from the upper and soleplate using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid abrasive materials.
- Avoid Soaking: If very dirty, a light rinse with water is acceptable, but avoid fully submerging the boots.
- Natural Drying: Always allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Crucially, never use direct heat sources such as radiators, hair dryers, or direct sunlight, as this can cause materials to crack, shrink, or detach.
- Proper Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from direct heat or humidity. Stuffing them with newspaper or using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Odor Management: To combat odors, use boot deodorizers or sprinkle a small amount of baking soda inside and leave overnight. Ensure the baking soda is removed before next use.
