The Nike Legend 10 Academy boots are designed with a versatile sole plate featuring conical studs, making them ideal for Firm Ground (FG) and Multi-Ground (MG) surfaces. This includes natural grass pitches and modern artificial turf fields.
After each use, remove loose dirt with a soft brush, then wipe the boots with a damp cloth. For stubborn mud, use a mild soap solution. Allow them to air dry completely at room temperature, away from direct heat.
FlyTouch Lite is an innovative synthetic leather developed by Nike. It's engineered to be incredibly soft and pliable, mimicking the natural feel of traditional leather while offering durability and maintaining its shape and performance in various conditions. It enhances ball touch and comfort.
The best fit is snug but comfortable, with your toes just touching the end without being cramped. Leather boots will stretch slightly and mold to your foot over time. Always try them on with the type of socks you'd wear for play.
No, these boots are not designed for indoor courts. The stud configuration is intended for outdoor firm ground and multi-ground surfaces. Using them indoors can damage the court and the boots' sole plate.
Yes, like many quality leather football boots, the Nike Legend 10 Academy will benefit from a short break-in period. This allows the FlyTouch Lite leather to conform perfectly to the shape of your foot, maximizing comfort and touch. Wear them for light training sessions before competitive matches.
Leather boots often require a break-in period. Wear them during light activities or short training sessions to allow the FlyTouch Lite leather to mold to your foot shape. Ensure you're wearing appropriate socks.
Check the condition of the studs for wear or mud build-up. Clean the sole plate thoroughly after each use. Also, consider the ground conditions – while versatile, extremely wet or muddy pitches might require specialized soft-ground (SG) studs.
This can be due to improper sizing or an inadequate break-in. Ensure your boots are the correct size and width. Wear high-quality athletic socks designed to reduce friction. If blisters persist, re-evaluate your boot fit.
This usually indicates improper drying or lack of conditioning. Avoid drying boots near direct heat. Use a specific leather conditioner for football boots periodically to keep the FlyTouch Lite material supple and prevent drying out.
