Setup: Molding Your Nike Alpha Mouthguard
- Boil Water: Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil.
- Prepare Mouthguard: Hold the mouthguard by the strap or a spoon.
- Submerge: Carefully immerse the mouthguard in the boiling water for `30-45 seconds`. (Time may vary; refer to specific packaging instructions if available).
- Remove: Using a slotted spoon, carefully remove the mouthguard from the hot water. Shake off excess water.
- Cool Slightly: Wait `10-15 seconds` for it to cool slightly so it doesn't burn your mouth, but is still pliable.
- Insert and Mold: Place the warm mouthguard into your mouth, centering it over your upper teeth. Bite down firmly, but not so hard that you bite through the material. Using your fingers, press the mouthguard against your teeth and gums, starting from the back. Suck out air and water to create a vacuum seal.
- Hold Position: Maintain this biting and pressing position for `20-30 seconds`.
- Cool in Cold Water: Remove the mouthguard and immediately place it in cold water for `30 seconds` to set the shape.
- Check Fit: Try it on. It should feel snug, not loose, and should not fall out when you open your mouth.

- Store Properly: Store your dry mouthguard in a clean, ventilated mouthguard case. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or extreme heat, which can warp the material.
