Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials, including any protective films or inserts.
- Clean Plates: Before first use, wipe the interchangeable plates with a damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. The non-stick coating benefits from this initial clean.
- Attach Plates: Select the desired cooking plates (sandwich, waffle, or grill) and firmly insert them into the designated slots until they click into place.
- Placement: Place the snack maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit. The non-slip feet will help keep it steady.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the appliance is heating up.
- Preheat: Allow the snack maker to preheat completely. This usually takes a few minutes until the ready indicator light (if available) illuminates or a steady temperature is reached.
Compatibility
This appliance is designed for household use and is compatible with standard electrical outlets. It is intended for countertop use in a kitchen environment.
Care
- Cool Down: Always allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Remove Plates: Carefully remove the interchangeable plates by pressing the release buttons (if applicable) and lifting them out.
- Hand Wash Plates: Wash the non-stick plates by hand using warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, which can damage the non-stick coating.
- Wipe Body: Wipe the exterior body of the snack maker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
- Storage: Store the snack maker with its plates either attached or separately in a dry place. The locking hatch can secure the plates during storage.
