The Moab Speed 2 GORE-TEX® generally offers a standard fit. While some users with slightly wider feet find them comfortable after break-in, individuals with significantly wide feet may want to try them on in person or consider alternative sizing options if available.

The GORE-TEX® membrane is highly durable. With proper care and maintenance, the waterproofing should last for the expected lifespan of the footwear.

While inspired by trail running innovations, these shoes are primarily designed for hiking. They offer more support and cushioning than a typical trail running shoe, making them excellent for hiking but potentially heavier for competitive trail running.

Waterproof versions like the GORE-TEX® model are typically slightly heavier due to the added waterproof membrane and seam sealing. The difference is usually minimal and contributes to enhanced protection.

The full-length rock plate acts as a protective layer between your foot and the ground, shielding you from sharp rocks, roots, and other underfoot hazards. This increases comfort and confidence on rugged terrain.

For the interior, remove the insoles and use a damp cloth with mild soap to wipe down the lining. Allow to air dry completely before reinserting the insoles.

Ensure laces are tied correctly to prevent water ingress from the top. Check for any damage to the GORE-TEX® membrane or seams. Proper drying after use is crucial.

Clean the Vibram® TC5+ outsole of any mud or debris that may be hindering grip. Ensure the shoe is not excessively worn down, which can affect lug performance.

This may indicate a need for a break-in period. Wear the shoes for shorter durations and gradually increase mileage. Ensure you are wearing appropriate hiking socks.

Allow more time for the shoes to break in. Natural foot movement and gentle flexing while not wearing them can also help the materials adapt.
