Crown Walls & Ceilings Matt Emulsion Paint provides a smooth, non-reflective matte finish, ideal for creating a contemporary look.

This paint is designed for general interior walls and ceilings. While it can be used, for high-moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens, it's generally recommended to use paints specifically formulated for those environments (e.g., mould-resistant kitchen and bathroom paints) for long-term durability.

As this is a water-based paint, you can easily clean your brushes and rollers with warm, soapy water immediately after use. Rinse thoroughly until all paint is removed.

A primer is highly recommended for bare, porous, or newly plastered surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion and an even finish. It's also advisable when significantly changing the color of the wall or painting over stains.

This paint is quick-drying. While typically touch-dry within 1-2 hours, always refer to the specific recoat time stated on the paint can, which is usually around 4 hours, before applying a second coat. Full cure can take longer.

Matte finishes are generally less washable than silk or satin finishes. Gentle wiping with a slightly damp, clean cloth may remove light marks, but vigorous scrubbing is not recommended as it can burnish or damage the finish.

Ensure the surface was thoroughly cleaned, dry, and properly prepared (e.g., sanded, primed if necessary) before painting. Remove any loose paint before reapplication.

Ensure paint is stirred well. Apply paint evenly, avoiding excessive pressure. Maintain a wet edge when rolling to prevent lap marks. Do not overwork the paint once it starts to dry.

Stir the paint thoroughly before and periodically during use to ensure pigments are evenly distributed. Ensure you are applying adequate, even coats. Allow proper drying time between coats.

This often indicates too much paint was applied. Apply thinner, more even coats, and avoid overloading your brush or roller.
