Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Timex Lab Sn63 typically comes ready to wear. Ensure the crown is pushed in completely for standard operation. To set the time, gently pull the crown out to the first or second position (depending on the specific movement) and rotate it to your desired time. Push the crown back in to resume normal timekeeping.
Compatibility: This watch is a standalone timekeeping device and does not have electronic compatibility requirements. The leather strap is designed to fit standard wrist sizes, but replacements can be fitted if necessary, provided they match the lug width.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Clean the leather strap with a specialized leather cleaner and conditioner to preserve its finish and prevent drying or cracking. Avoid exposing the leather to excessive moisture or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Water Resistance: While specific water resistance ratings are not provided, typical dress watches are not designed for submersion. Avoid exposing the watch to water, rain, or high humidity. If it gets wet, dry it immediately.
- Strap Care: Condition the leather strap periodically to keep it supple. If the strap becomes noticeably worn or damaged, it can be replaced with a compatible watch strap of similar size and style.
