Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This watch comes with its quartz movement pre-installed and set. The crown (the small knob on the side of the case) is typically in the 'stop' position to conserve battery. To set the time, gently pull the crown outwards to its first or second position (depending on whether it has a date function, though this model does not specify one). Rotate the crown until the desired time is shown, then push it back in to the normal 'wind' position. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility:
This is a standalone analog watch, so it does not have electronic compatibility requirements with other devices. The leather strap is designed for a standard wrist size and may be suitable for most individuals. Buckle clasps are common and easy to adjust.
Care:
- Strap: To maintain the leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, and heat, which can cause fading or cracking. Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Consider using a leather conditioner periodically.
- Case & Crystal: Wipe the case and mineral glass with a soft, dry cloth. For smudges, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying.
- Water Resistance: Remember the 30m rating means protection against splashes and rain. Avoid submerging the watch. After exposure to water, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use, preferably in its original box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches.
