While made of durable plastic, these couplings are primarily designed and tested for irrigation systems. For potable water lines, it's recommended to use fittings specifically certified for drinking water applications.

Each pack contains three (3) straight compression couplings.

These couplings are suitable for standard garden and allotment irrigation system pressures. They are not designed for high-pressure industrial or mains water supply applications.

Compression couplings are generally designed for a permanent installation. While it may be possible to remove and re-tighten one, the sealing integrity can be compromised. For critical joints, replacement is recommended if disassembled.

Ensure the pipe was fully inserted and the compression nut is tightened sufficiently. Check that the pipe ends are clean, undamaged, and cut squarely. If the pipe is damaged, trim the end and re-install.

Verify that you are using the correct 25mm pipe size and type (MDPE/HDPE). Ensure the pipe end is not deformed or crushed. Clean the inside of the coupling if it appears obstructed.

The pipe may not be seated correctly. Remove the nut, re-seat the pipe fully, and retighten the nut securely. Ensure the pipe is not excessively old or brittle, which could prevent a good seal.
