When combined with plastic push-fit pipe, these products create a robust system. This specific fitting is an equal straight connector designed for joining two pipes of the same size. Installation involves fully pushing the fitting onto the pipe and twisting the plastic nut clockwise to secure it. To detach, unlock the nut by hand, push the collet towards the fitting's body, and pull the pipe to release. Key features include: - Instant push-fit connection - Tool-free installation and demounting in seconds - Safe, flame-free installation without hot works, glue, or flux - Grip & Seal collet with stainless steel teeth and a main O-ring seal - Twist & Lock mechanism for secure fitting and compression - Non-toxic, corrosion-resistant, and scale-resistant design - Compatibility with Speedfit PEX and polybutylene plastic pipe (inserts required) and copper pipe - Suitability for hot and cold water and central heating systems.
