Wavin OsmaSoil Pipe - 110mm - Black

The Wavin OsmaSoil pipe is primarily used for above-ground drainage, soil, and ventilation systems in domestic, commercial, and industrial installations.

The pipe is manufactured from Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-U), which provides resistance to chemical erosion.

The pipe is certified to BS EN 1453-1:2000.

The pipe has three closed 40mm spigot tail positions that allow direct connection of 40mm solvent weld sockets. Other connections will typically require specific fittings or adaptors.

Pipes are joined using solvent weld for the spigot tails and sockets, or by using appropriate boss socket adaptors for the bossed positions. Ring seals are used for specific joint types within the system.

The Wavin OsmaSoil range is specifically designed and certified for above-ground applications.

Check if the solvent weld has fully cured. Ensure the joint was made correctly with primer and cement. For ring seal joints, verify the seal is properly seated and undamaged.

Use a drain snake or appropriate drain cleaning tools to clear the obstruction. Identify the cause of the blockage (e.g., grease, foreign objects) and address it to prevent recurrence.

Re-make the joint ensuring sufficient solvent weld cement is used or that the ring seal is correctly seated. Ensure appropriate brackets are used to support the pipework adequately.
