Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your adidas Dropset Control shoes are ready to wear right out of the box. Simply lace them up to achieve a snug, comfortable fit that supports your foot without restricting movement. Ensure the laces are tight enough to prevent your foot from sliding inside the shoe during dynamic movements, but not so tight that they cause discomfort or restrict circulation.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed specifically for cross-training and weightlifting. They are compatible with most gym surfaces, including rubber flooring, lifting platforms, and turf. Their stability-focused design makes them an excellent choice for a variety of gym workouts, but as noted, they are not ideal for running-specific activities.
Care & Maintenance
To extend the life and maintain the performance of your adidas Dropset Control shoes, follow these simple care instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the mesh upper and sole with a damp cloth and mild soap (if necessary). Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes that could damage the material.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles periodically to air them out. You can also use shoe deodorizers or sprinkle baking soda inside the shoes to absorb moisture and odors.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Regularly check laces for wear and tear, and inspect the soles for excessive wear, especially if you train frequently. Replace shoes when significant wear compromises performance or safety.
