Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any old wallpaper or loose paint.
- Measure and cut the wallpaper strips to the required length, allowing for a slight overlap at the ceiling and skirting board.
- Apply wallpaper paste evenly to the back of the wallpaper strip or directly to the wall, following the paste manufacturer's instructions.
- Hang the first strip vertically, ensuring it is straight using a spirit level. Butt the edges of subsequent strips together, aligning the pattern.
- Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles with a wallpaper brush or smoothing tool, working from the center outwards.
- Trim any excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board with a sharp utility knife.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for application on most interior walls, including plaster, drywall, and previously painted surfaces, provided they are properly prepared.
Care:
To clean, gently wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, as this can damage the paper and its printed effect. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used sparingly, followed by a clean damp cloth wipe.
