Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure you have a standard sealant gun.
- Cut the nozzle tip to the desired bead size.
- Puncture the inner seal of the tube.
- Load the tube into the sealant gun.
- Apply the sealant evenly into the joint or gap.
- Tool the sealant within the skinning time (30-45 minutes) using a damp tool or finger.
Compatibility:
This silicone sealant adheres well to a wide range of common building materials including:
- PVCu
- Plastic
- Copper
- Zinc
- Glazing
- Aluminium
- Masonry
- Concrete
- Brick
- Stone
It is compatible with most paints when fully cured, but testing on a small, inconspicuous area is recommended.
Care:
- Store tubes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Ensure good ventilation during application and curing.
- Clean tools and excess sealant immediately after use with a damp cloth or appropriate solvent (refer to product data sheet for specifics).
- Cured sealant can be removed mechanically.
