Ensure the zipper is clean and free of debris. Gently use a wax-based lubricant or a graphite pencil on the zipper teeth. Check that the storm flap is not caught in the zipper.

This can indicate reduced breathability. Ensure the jacket is clean, as dirt can clog the pores. Consider re-applying a DWR treatment if the outer fabric is saturated.

Check the drawcords and toggles on the hood. Ensure they are properly secured and tightened. If drawcords are damaged, they may need replacement.
