The LeMieux Classique Base Layer is designed for active women who require a high-performance garment that seamlessly transitions between equestrian sports, running, and everyday fitness routines. Its primary benefit lies in its technical fabric construction, which offers superior sweat-wicking, temperature regulation, and 360-degree stretch for maximum comfort during intense movement. One caveat for users is that while the fleece material is highly versatile, it is specifically optimized for active wear, meaning those looking for heavy-duty thermal insulation for static outdoor work may need to consider additional layers.

It provides excellent thermal regulation, but for very cold conditions, we recommend wearing it as the first layer under a thicker jacket or gilet.
Yes, it is fully machine washable. Follow the care label instructions to maintain the technical properties of the fabric.
Yes, the fabric is rated with UV50+ protection, making it ideal for sunny days outdoors.
No, it is crafted with silky-smooth fabric and flatlock stitching specifically to be soft and non-chafing against the skin.
The LeMieux sizing is generally standard for equestrian apparel; it is designed to be a fitted base layer, so it will sit close to the body.
The garment features a quarter-zip, allowing you to adjust the collar height and fit to your preference.
Ensure the base layer is worn directly against the skin to allow the sweat-wicking technology to function properly.
Check that the garment is not being pulled too tight at the seams; if the fit is too restrictive, consider sizing up.
Ensure you are using a detergent meant for synthetic sports fabrics and avoid heavy fabric softeners that trap oils.
This base layer is designed as a foundational piece for layering. It is true to size, but those who prefer a looser fit for casual use may want to size up. Because it is made from technical fleece, care is straightforward: the garment is machine washable. To maintain the integrity of the anti-microbial finish and the fabric's stretch, it is recommended to wash in cool water on a gentle cycle. Avoid using harsh fabric softeners or bleach, as these can interfere with the technical performance of the sweat-wicking fibers. Always hang to dry or tumble dry on a very low heat setting to prevent premature wear.
