The Yale No.1 and No.2 Rim Auto Deadlocking Nightlatch is a high security nightlatch that comes complete with a 6 pin brass cylinder. It features a dark metallic grey finish with a polished brass rim cylinder. The dimensions are Height 88mm, Width 64/92mm, with a backset of 40mm or 60mm. The bolt throw is 13mm. This nightlatch automatically deadlocks when the door is closed, making it particularly suitable for glass panel doors. It offers traditional high security with a convenient lever handle to operate the lock from inside the property. The automatic deadlock is engaged when the door is closed for instant security, and the latch bolt can be held back temporarily with the snib button. The Yale rim cylinder is operated by key from the outside with standard security components. The internal nightlatch handle can be locked from the inside with a key, making it ideal for use with wooden doors with large glazed panels. It is supplied with 2 standard Yale keys and a fixing pack. It also features anti-card slip protection, preventing the lock from being vulnerable to specialist techniques that only require a credit card sized piece of plastic.
