Setup, Compatibility & Care
The AMI Paris Crewneck Sweater requires no setup, but proper care is essential to maintain its quality and appearance.
Care Instructions
To ensure your sweater remains in excellent condition:
- Check the Label: Always refer to the specific care label inside the garment for the most accurate instructions.
- Washing:
- Hand Wash Recommended: For best results and to preserve fabric integrity, hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent.
- Machine Wash (Delicate): If machine washing, turn the sweater inside out, place it in a mesh laundry bag, and use a cold water, delicate cycle with a gentle detergent.
- Drying:
- Lay Flat to Dry: Never hang a wet sweater, as this can cause stretching and distortion. Gently reshape and lay flat on a clean towel or drying rack away from direct sunlight or heat.
- Avoid Tumble Drying: High heat from tumble drying can cause shrinkage and damage the fabric.
- Storage:
- Fold, Don't Hang: Store sweaters folded in a drawer or on a shelf to prevent stretching, especially around the shoulders.
- Moth Protection: If storing for long periods, consider using cedar balls or sachets to protect against moths.
- Pilling Management:
- Small fabric balls (pilling) may appear over time, especially in high-friction areas. Gently remove them with a fabric shaver or a pilling comb to keep the sweater looking new.
