Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last for years, follow these care guidelines:
- Breaking In: Wear them for short durations indoors initially to allow the leather and sole to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe away dirt with a damp cloth. For the oily finish, apply a specialized leather wax or conditioner periodically to keep the material supple and maintain the matte aesthetic.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can cause leather to crack.
- Lacing: Ensure laces are tight enough to prevent heel slippage, which is the most common cause of premature wear in the heel counter.
