Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Palladium Trooper boots remain in top condition, follow these simple maintenance steps:
- Initial Break-in: Wear them for short durations indoors for the first two days to allow the leather to flex.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the leather with a damp cloth after exposure to mud or salt. Allow to air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent cracking.
- Conditioning: Apply a leather-safe conditioner periodically to maintain the suppleness of the upper material.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Using a shoe tree can help maintain the boot's shape when not in use.
- Insock Care: Remove the insock occasionally to let it air out, or replace it if it shows signs of excessive wear.
