FAQs
Are these shoes waterproof?
This specific model features the Sensifit and Contagrip systems; check the specific product label or your purchase confirmation to see if your variant includes a waterproof membrane.
Can these be washed in a machine?
It is recommended to hand wash these shoes using warm water and mild soap to preserve the structural integrity of the EVA midsole and the lacing system.
How do I know if the size is correct?
There should be about a thumb's width of space between the longest toe and the front of the shoe to allow for natural foot movement and growth.
Can the laces be replaced?
The Quicklace system is designed to be durable, but it can be replaced with official Salomon spare parts if damaged.
Are they suitable for school wear?
While they are comfortable, they are engineered for trail performance; for daily school use, standard trainers may be more suitable.
Troubleshooting
Quicklace feels too loose or too tight
Adjust the lace toggle by pressing the release button and sliding it to the desired position to re-tension the fit.
Shoes are losing traction on trails
Check the outsole for caked-on mud or debris and clean the lugs to restore the grip properties.
Foot feels unstable inside the shoe
Ensure the Sensifit wrapping is not obstructed by thick socks and re-adjust the Quicklace for a snugger fit.
Pros and Cons

- Secure and snug fit provided by Sensifit technology
- High level of cushioning from the EVA midsole
Cons
- Primarily optimized for trails rather than indoor gym floors

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best experience, verify your child's UK foot size before purchase. When putting on the shoes, ensure the Quicklace is tensioned evenly across the instep for maximum benefit from the Sensifit system.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: After muddy adventures, let the shoes air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the materials.
- Maintenance: Brush off dried dirt from the outsole to maintain the integrity of the Contagrip lugs.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
