Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Using your Trespass Nonstop Fleece Jacket is as simple as putting it on. Unzip the front, slip it on, and zip it up for immediate warmth and comfort. There is no complex setup required.
Compatibility
This fleece jacket is designed to be a highly versatile piece of clothing. It works excellently as a mid-layer within a three-layer system:
- Base Layer: Wear over a moisture-wicking base layer (e.g., thermal top) to draw sweat away from your body.
- Mid-Layer (This Fleece): Provides essential insulation to trap warmth.
- Outer Layer: Combine with a waterproof and windproof shell jacket for protection against rain and strong winds. This fleece is not designed to be a standalone outer layer in wet conditions.
It is also perfectly suitable as a stand-alone outer layer in dry, cool to mild conditions, such as for casual wear, dog walking, or light outdoor activities where rain or strong winds are not expected.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your fleece jacket:
- Washing: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Use a mild detergent.
- Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or, ideally, air dry flat. Avoid high heat as it can damage the fleece fibers.
- Bleach/Softener: Do not bleach. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can clog the fibers and reduce the fleece's insulating properties.
- Ironing: Do not iron. High heat will melt the synthetic fibers.
- Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean.
- Pilling: While the fabric is anti-pilling, minor pilling can still occur over time. If this happens, gently remove pills with a fabric shaver or brush. Washing the jacket inside out can also help prevent pilling.
