Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
Upon receiving your coat, simply unpack it and hang it on a suitable hanger. Any minor creases from packaging should naturally fall out. For best results, allow it to hang for a few hours before its first wear. A light steaming can help remove stubborn wrinkles.
Compatibility
This coat is designed as an outerwear staple and is highly compatible with a range of autumn/winter clothing. It layers perfectly over:
- Knitwear: Chunky sweaters, fine-gauge pullovers, cardigans.
- Jeans and Trousers: For a sophisticated yet casual look.
- Dresses and Skirts: Elevates both casual and semi-formal dresses.
- Scarves: The funnel neck leaves room for stylish scarves to be added for extra warmth and personal flair.
Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your coat, follow these care guidelines:
- Machine Wash: The coat is machine washable. Always check the label for specific temperature recommendations, but generally, a cold or cool wash cycle is suitable.
- Use Mild Detergent: Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the fabric.
- Do Not Bleach: Bleaching agents can weaken fibers and alter the color.
- Tumble Dry Low or Air Dry: To prevent shrinkage or damage, tumble dry on a low setting or, preferably, hang to air dry. Air drying helps maintain the fabric's integrity and shape.
- Iron Low Heat (if needed): If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting and iron on the reverse side or use a pressing cloth to protect the fabric's finish.
- Storage: Store the coat on a wide, padded hanger to maintain its shape, especially at the shoulders.
