FAQs
Are these slides suitable for wide feet?
The wide strap provides a comfortable fit for many, but they are not specifically designed for extra-wide feet. The slip-on nature and fixed strap mean adjustability is limited.
Can these be worn for long walks?
The arch support makes them more comfortable than basic flip-flops for moderate distances. However, for extended walking or strenuous activity, supportive athletic footwear is recommended.
How do I determine the correct size?
It is best to refer to the O'Neill sizing chart or measure your child's foot. This guide specifies a UK size 4, so ensure this matches your child's foot measurement.
Will these shrink if left in the sun?
While they are durable, prolonged exposure to intense direct sunlight can potentially affect the material. It's best to let them air dry away from direct heat.
Are these considered unisex?
Although this specific listing is for a male size 4 UK, O'Neill Script Slides are generally considered unisex and suitable for any child.
What is the warranty on these slides?
Please refer to the retailer's or manufacturer's website for specific warranty information, as this typically varies.
Troubleshooting
Slides feel too tight or loose
Ensure you have selected the correct UK size. Refer to the sizing chart if unsure. The wide strap offers minimal adjustability, so a proper fit is crucial.
Material feels stiff after drying
This is normal for waterproof materials. Wear them for a short period to allow them to soften and conform to your feet. Avoid drying them with excessive heat.
Soles feel slippery on certain surfaces
While designed for grip, some highly polished or wet surfaces may still pose a slip risk. Exercise caution on such surfaces.
