Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Remove any skirting boards, render, or wall coverings to expose the mortar bed.
- Drilling: Drill holes horizontally along the mortar bed at intervals recommended by the manufacturer (typically every 12cm or 4.7 inches). Use a drill bit of the correct diameter as indicated in the product instructions.
- Injection: Insert the nozzle of the Dryzone cartridge into the applicator gun, and inject the cream into each hole until the mortar is saturated, or until the cream starts to squeeze out from the hole.
- Filling Holes: After the cream has been injected, fill the holes with a suitable mortar or sealant.
- Reinstatement: Allow the wall to dry completely before re-plastering or re-applying any finishes.
Compatibility: Dryzone DPC Cream is compatible with a wide range of building materials including brick, stone, and various types of mortar. Ensure the product is suitable for the specific wall materials before application.
Care: Store the cartridges in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures. Always wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves and eye protection, during application. Dispose of used cartridges responsibly.
