Measure the circumference of your forearm approximately 3 inches (7.5 cm) below the center of your elbow and your bicep approximately 3 inches (7.5 cm) above the center of your elbow. Consult the Fox Racing sizing chart for the specific measurements that correspond to each size (S, M, L, XL, etc.).

It is recommended to hand wash the elbow guards with mild soap and cold water. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as this can damage the materials and protective inserts.

The removable hardcap allows you to customize the level of protection. With the hardcap in place, you get maximum impact and abrasion resistance. Removing it provides a lighter, more flexible guard with D3O® impact protection, suitable for less extreme conditions.

Elbow guards should be replaced if they show significant signs of wear, tears, or if the protective inserts have been compromised by a major impact. Visually inspect them regularly for damage.

These guards are ideal for gravity-focused disciplines like downhill, enduro, and aggressive trail riding. For less demanding activities like cross-country or road cycling, they may be more protection than necessary.

The antimicrobial sleeve is designed to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria, helping to keep the guards fresher for longer periods between washes. While it helps manage odor, regular cleaning is still essential.

Ensure the extra wide elastic upper band and hook-and-loop adjusters are tightened appropriately. Verify you have selected the correct size; if the guards are too large, they may not stay in place. Check that the silicone gripper is clean and free from dirt or sweat.

Try removing the internal hardcap. This will reduce the overall bulk while still providing CE-certified D3O® protection. Ensure the guards are oriented correctly for your left and right arms.

Adjust the hook-and-loop straps for a snug but not overly tight fit. Ensure the guards are positioned correctly on your elbow. If irritation persists, consider wearing a thin base layer under the guards.
