The WTB Volt Saddle is designed for mountain bikers seeking a versatile, high-performance interface that balances comfort with efficiency. Ideal for riders who prioritize a lightweight setup, this saddle features medium padding and a unique contoured shape that aids in power transfer during technical climbs; however, its narrow profile and minimalist construction may not provide the plush comfort needed for long-distance endurance rides for all body types.

While designed for mountain biking, its lightweight profile makes it a viable option for road cyclists who prefer a firm, performance-oriented saddle.
This specific narrow model weighs 165g.
Most standard seat posts are compatible, but ensure your clamp mechanism is designed for 7mm round rails or provides appropriate pressure for carbon structures.
This specific variant measures 135mm in width.
Yes, but be aware that it features medium padding meant for performance, which may feel firm during multi-day rides compared to dedicated touring saddles.
Check the connection point where the rails meet the saddle shell and the seat post clamp; clean and apply a thin layer of carbon-safe grease if necessary.
Verify that your seat post rail clamp bolts are torqued to the manufacturer's recommended specification for carbon rails.
For optimal performance, ensure the saddle is mounted with a seat post clamp compatible with carbon rails, as excessive clamping force can damage them. When setting your position, begin with a level tilt; however, because of the unique drop-nose design, you may find that slightly angling the nose downward improves comfort during long climbing sessions. To maintain the microfiber cover, clean periodically with a mild soap and water solution and a soft brush. Avoid using harsh degreasers or high-pressure washers, as these can degrade the shell materials over time.
