Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure maximum longevity and performance, keep the jacket clean to maintain the breathability of the 3-layer membrane. Wash in cold water using technical garment cleaners that do not contain fabric softeners or harsh detergents, which can clog the membrane. After washing, tumble dry on a low setting or follow the garment's heat-activation instructions to reactivate the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating on the outer shell. Regarding compatibility, the helmet-compatible hood is designed to fit over standard ski helmets. For layering, treat this as your outer shield; wear a moisture-wicking base layer and an insulating mid-layer (such as a down or synthetic sweater) beneath it for warmth. Regularly inspect the powder skirt and zippers to ensure no grit or debris interferes with their mechanical operation.
