Yes, the entire unit, including the lid and fork, is dishwasher-safe.
The Mepal Fruitbox is manufactured in Holland.
It is leak-proof for fruits and vegetables, but it is not designed to contain liquids or heavy dressings.
Check the seal for food debris and ensure the rim of the container is clean before pressing the lid down.
Ensure the fork is firmly pushed into the specific indentation inside the lid designed for storage.
Soak the container in warm soapy water immediately after use and scrub gently with a soft sponge to prevent permanent discoloration.
Using the Fruitbox is intuitive: simply place your washed fruit inside, tuck the fork into its designated spot, and press the lid down until it clicks. To maintain the box, place it in the top rack of your dishwasher. While the container is microwave-resistant, ensure the lid is removed first to avoid warping the seal. The product is fully compatible with other Mepal Campus series items, such as their lunch boxes and water bottles, for a coordinated school set.
