Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Plan Your Coverage: Determine the area you need to protect and select the appropriate length of netting. Ensure you have enough to cover the plants with a slight overlap on the ground or secure edges.
- Prepare the Area: Clear the ground around the plants of any debris that could snag the netting or interfere with securing it.
- Unroll and Position: Carefully unroll the netting over your plants or garden bed. For rows, you can use stakes or hoops to create a tunnel effect and keep the netting elevated.
- Secure the Edges: Use garden stakes, pegs, rocks, or soil to firmly secure the edges of the netting to the ground. This prevents pests from crawling underneath. Ensure there are no gaps.
- Maintain Tension: For larger areas or row covers, ensure the netting has a slight tension to prevent sagging, which could create entry points for pests.
Compatibility:
This netting is compatible with most standard garden setups, including raised beds, ground-level gardens, vegetable patches, fruit bushes, and small trees.
Care:
- Cleaning: After the growing season or if the netting becomes soiled, gently clean it with a hose. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush and mild soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
- Storage: Store the netting in a dry, shaded place when not in use to prolong its lifespan and prevent UV damage.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the netting for any tears or damage during the growing season and repair them promptly to maintain its protective integrity.
