Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper Remover has a new formula. Strypit is a non-caustic dichloromethane-free gel suitable for removing multiple coats of paints and varnishes applied to wood, metal, glass, stone and masonry surfaces. Rustins Strypit works best when applied liberally and allowed to penetrate after two applications. The gel consistency permits effective use on vertical surfaces. Made in the UK. Size: 500ml The rate of coverage is approximately 5m² per litre. Directions for use: Use appropriate personal protection including gloves and eye protection. Shake tin well and remove cap carefully holding the tin away from face. Brush on liberal coat with dabbing action. Leave until paint begins to soften or blister, then wait a further 5-10 minutes before removing with a stripping knife or scraper. Rustins Strypit Aerosol is a non-caustic, dichloromethane-free, paint and varnish stripper. This aerosol works great in those hard-to-reach and more intricate areas. It's non-drip, so it's also ideal for use on vertical surfaces. Suitable for removing paint, varnish, cellulose, polyurethane, emulsion, French polish, lacquer and textured finishes from wood, metal, glass or plaster. Specially formulated to avoid stripping the attractive patina acquired through age on old furniture. Free from acid and caustic.
