FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
The Gel-1130 is primarily designed as a lifestyle trainer rather than a high-performance running shoe.
How do I determine my size?
These trainers follow standard UK sizing conventions for adult males.
Can I remove the insoles?
Most Asics models feature removable insoles, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if required.
What materials are used in the upper?
The upper uses a blend of synthetic textiles and overlays for durability and support.
How often should I clean these?
Wipe them down after use to prevent dirt build-up, especially since the colorway features white.
Troubleshooting
Laces coming untied frequently
Ensure you are using a double-knot or replacing with laces that provide higher friction if necessary.
Surface scuff marks on white areas
Use a specialized sneaker cleaner or a mild soap solution with a soft cloth to gently buff out the mark.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Asics Gel-1130 trainers remain in top condition, follow these simple care guidelines:
- Breaking In: Wear them for short periods initially to allow the footbed to adapt to your stride.
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid soaking the shoes in water as this can damage the structural integrity of the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration of the White and Blue panels.
- Lacing: Ensure laces are kept clean; if they become frayed, replace them with standard athletic laces to maintain the secure fit.
