Setup, Compatibility & Care
To keep your SB Dunks in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: Like all leather skate shoes, allow for a brief break-in period where the leather softens to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry debris from the scale texture. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive soaps, as these can strip the pigment from the color-shifting panels.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent premature fading of the upper colors.
- Moisture: If the shoes get wet, stuff them with paper towels and let them air dry naturally away from heat sources like radiators to prevent the leather from cracking.
