Your toes should have plenty of room to wiggle, and your heel should rest securely in the heel cup without overhanging the edge.
Yes, wearing socks is a great way to break in the shoes and provides extra comfort during colder weather.
No, these are not intended for use in wet conditions or rain as water can damage the natural materials.
These clogs follow standard UK sizing. If you are between sizes, consider the specific foot shape and room needed for the footbed contours.
Most users find that it takes about two to four weeks of regular wear for the footbed to fully adapt to their specific foot shape.
This is normal for new Birkenstocks. Wear them for short durations indoors to allow the materials to warm and start molding to your foot.
Use a specialized suede or leather brush depending on the finish to gently buff out surface-level marks.
To ensure the longevity of your Birkenstock clogs, keep them away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the cork footbed. For cleaning, use a dry brush to remove loose dirt from the upper. If the footbed becomes soiled, use a slightly damp cloth to wipe it clean; avoid fully immersing the shoes in water. Compatibility is standard for UK sizes; however, consider wearing them with thin socks during the initial break-in period to minimize friction.
