You need to use sublimation ink with this printer. Sublimation ink turns into a gas when heated, which bonds with the special coating on sublimation mugs.

Pressing time varies based on the mug size and type. Start with the recommended settings for your mug, found in the included instructions, and adjust as needed. Generally, it will take a few minutes.

The recommended temperature will vary based on the mug and ink type. Refer to the manufacturer's recommendations for the mug, ink, and paper you are using. The mug press can reach up to 450°F (232°C).

Allow the press to cool completely. Wipe down the heating element with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

This mug press is specifically designed for mugs. Attempting to press other items could damage the press or result in unsatisfactory results.

Check your printer settings, make sure the mug is properly taped, and that the heat press has reached the correct temperature. Experiment with the pressing time.

Increase pressing time and/or temperature. Ensure the mug is making full contact with the heating element. Check that the sublimation paper is making good contact with the mug.

Reduce pressing time. Ensure the sublimation paper is taped securely to the mug and does not shift during the pressing process.

Check ink levels (though empty cartridges are provided). Ensure you are using sublimation ink and the printer settings are configured for sublimation printing.

Check the power connection and the power switch on the mug press.
