While the leather and suede offer some water resistance, these boots are not fully waterproof like traditional rubber wellington boots. They are designed for general country and town wear, offering good protection against moderate moisture.

The Hunter Canna boots feature a standard fitting. We recommend referring to a standard UK women's shoe size chart. If you are between sizes or have wider feet, consider sizing up.

They can handle light to moderate rain thanks to the water-resistant properties of the materials. For prolonged exposure to heavy rain or standing water, other Hunter boot styles specifically designed for full waterproofing might be more suitable.

Regular cleaning after use is recommended, especially if exposed to dirt or moisture. Conditioning the leather every few months and treating the suede periodically with protector spray will help maintain their condition.

The heel height is approximately 20mm (2cm).

These boots are designed for three-season wear. They are not insulated for extreme cold. For very cold conditions, it is recommended to wear warm socks or consider an insulated boot.

It is best to avoid soaking the suede parts. Use a dry suede brush for routine cleaning and a suede eraser or specialized suede cleaner for marks. Always allow them to air dry naturally.

Apply a small amount of wax (like beeswax or a zipper lubricant) to the teeth of the zip. Gently work the zip up and down until it moves smoothly.

Allow the suede to dry completely. Use a suede brush to gently lift the nap and remove surface dirt. For stubborn stains, consult a suede cleaner.

Wear the boots with thinner socks initially. As the leather and suede naturally soften and mold to your foot, thicker socks can be worn. If the tightness persists, consider a professional stretching service.

Wipe away excess water immediately with a soft cloth and allow to air dry naturally. Use a leather conditioner specifically designed for water-based stains.
