The Trespass Down Jacket Erris is designed for adult men who need a reliable, lightweight thermal layer for cold-weather activities and daily outdoor use. Its premium down insulation provides exceptional warmth-to-weight efficiency, making it an ideal choice for hiking or chilly commutes; however, because it features high-loft insulation, it is not waterproof and requires specific cleaning care to maintain its loft.

No, this jacket is not waterproof. It is designed to provide insulation in cold, dry weather and should be worn under a waterproof shell if you expect rain.
Use a machine cycle with cold water, a delicate setting, and a specialized down-wash soap. Do not use standard laundry detergents or fabric softeners.
Yes, because it uses down insulation, it is highly compressible; however, store it hanging in your closet once you return home to preserve the loft.
No, the Erris features a 'grown-on' hood, meaning it is permanently attached to the jacket for improved wind protection.
It provides significant warmth for cold climates, but performance will depend on your personal tolerance and the clothing layers worn underneath.
This is normal for high-quality down products. Gently pull the feather back into the jacket from the inside rather than pulling it all the way out.
The down has likely clumped together due to moisture or lack of use. Tumble dry on a low setting with dryer balls to redistribute the down.
To ensure the longevity of your jacket, always store it hanging in a dry, ventilated area rather than compressed in a stuff sack for extended periods. When the jacket requires cleaning, use a specialized down detergent to avoid stripping the natural oils from the feathers, which can cause them to lose their loft. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleaching agents. For drying, tumble dry on a low heat setting with a pair of clean tennis balls or dryer balls to help fluff the down and prevent clumping.
