The Hydro Mocs are best suited for casual wear and light activities around water or on easy trails. They lack the robust support and aggressive traction needed for technical hiking.

While designed to be worn barefoot, some users may choose to wear thin, moisture-wicking socks with them for added warmth or comfort. However, the fit may be tighter.

The Hydro Mocs should feel snug but not tight. There should be a small amount of room in the toe box, and your heel should not lift excessively when walking. Refer to Merrell's sizing chart for accurate measurements.

The Hydro Mocs are water-friendly and dry quickly, making them suitable for wet conditions. However, they are not fully waterproof in the sense of sealing out water entirely.

BLOOM™ algae is a sustainable material derived from algae biomass. Its use in the Hydro Moc's foam helps to clean waterways and reduce the environmental impact of the footwear.

Use a soft brush or cloth with mild soap and cold water. Rinse well and air dry away from direct heat.

Ensure the correct size is being worn. For wet conditions, dry the outsole and footbed with a towel before use. Note that while water-friendly, they may still offer less grip than specialized water shoes in extremely slippery conditions.

This is common with new foam materials. Wear the Hydro Mocs around the house for a few hours to break them in. The foam will conform to your foot shape over time.

Rinse the Hydro Mocs with cool water and allow them to air dry completely. Adding a sprinkle of baking soda inside overnight can also help neutralize odors before drying.
