The Peter Storm Insulated Typhoon Jacket is designed for all-weather protection. It features a peaked hood for excellent rain protection, and the padded construction with adjustable fit helps trap warm air, keeping the cold out. The jacket is waterproof with a 3000mm Hydrostatic Head and taped seams to effectively shed water. Its insulation is provided by polyester wadding, which traps in warm air for comfort. The peaked hood includes adjustable toggles for enhanced weather protection. For storage, it offers multiple pockets: two zipped hand pockets and one zipped inner pocket. Adjustable cuffs with Velcro tabs help prevent draughts, and an adjustable hem with a cordlock system allows for a customized fit. A chin guard adds to the comfort. The fabric is 100% Polyester Marl. It also boasts a Durable Water Repellent finish, a sleek-looking marled polyester waterproof exterior, and a lightweight polyester wadding for insulation against chills. The taffeta interior is ultra-soft and comfortable. It has 2 lower pockets and a curved hem. Recommended activities include walking, hiking, and casual wear. The breathable taffeta lining optimizes airflow and helps control internal climate. The adjustable cuffs are partly elasticated with a Velcro tab to block cold draughts, and the drawcord adjustable hem provides a better fit and stops wind chill. The peaked hood with adjustable toggles shields your face from the elements, and the chin guard protects against zip or fabric rubbing.
