The frequency of conditioning depends on how often you wear the shoes and the conditions they are exposed to. As a general rule, conditioning every 1-3 months is recommended. If the leather starts to look dry, dull, or stiff, it's a good indicator that it needs conditioning.

The Clarks Nature Three shoes offer excellent comfort and support for daily walking and casual use. While they are very comfortable for extended periods of walking, they are not specifically designed for rigorous hiking or trail conditions. For more demanding activities, specialized hiking footwear would be more appropriate.

These shoes are noted as having a wide fitting, which generally means they offer more room across the foot. We recommend selecting your usual UK shoe size. If you are between sizes or unsure, it's often best to try them on to ensure the perfect fit, especially considering the wide fit.

The Nature Three features a padded footbed which is often integrated into the shoe's design for optimal Active Air cushioning. While it might be possible to insert thin orthotic insoles on top, replacing the primary padded footbed might not be straightforward without affecting the shoe's built-in comfort features. Consult a cobbler for advice on custom orthotics.

Leather shoes often require a 'break-in' period. Wear them for short periods initially, gradually increasing wear time. Ensure the laces are not too tight, allowing your foot to flex naturally. If discomfort persists, verify you have the correct size and width.
