The Rycote In Vision USM Universal Studio Suspension Mount offers enhanced wind and noise isolation for large-diaphragm microphones in recording studios. This universal shock-mount is designed to accommodate microphones weighing up to 750 grams and with diameters ranging from 18mm to 55mm. It features Rycote's patented vibration-resistant Lyre mount system, with adjustable fasteners on a central mounting ring, allowing it to fit a wide variety of microphones. Previously, Rycote InVision mounts were available for smaller shotgun microphones used in broadcast and videography, but the Universal Studio Mount (USM), released in 2010, was the first InVision shock-mount capable of supporting large-diaphragm recording microphones for studio use.
