Rycote InVision USM-L Microphone Shock Mount - Black

The USM-L is compatible with microphones between 18 and 55 mm in diameter and weighing up to 400 grams. Examples include AKG C414 and Neumann TLM 102 & 103.

Open the Lyre clips and insert your microphone, ensuring it is securely held within the mount. Adjust the clips as needed.

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the USM-L. Avoid liquids and harsh chemicals.

The USM-L is designed for microphones up to 400 grams. If your microphone exceeds this weight, the shock mount may not perform effectively. Consider a different shock mount designed for heavier microphones.

While the USM-L can be used in some field recording scenarios, it is primarily designed for studio use. Its effectiveness may be limited in environments with strong wind or excessive movement.

Ensure that the microphone is correctly connected to your audio interface or recorder. Check the microphone settings (gain, phantom power if required).
