Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Lacoste polo maintains its shape and color for years, follow these care instructions:
- Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water. Using a mesh laundry bag can help protect the buttons and fabric texture.
- Detergent: Use a mild, color-safe detergent. Avoid harsh bleach, which can damage the natural cotton fibers.
- Drying: Air drying is highly recommended. Lay the polo flat on a clean surface or hang it to dry. Avoid high heat in a tumble dryer, as this is the primary cause of shrinkage in petit pique cotton.
- Ironing: If needed, iron on a medium setting while the fabric is slightly damp to smooth out wrinkles effectively.
- Storage: Store the polo folded rather than hung on a wire hanger to prevent the shoulders from stretching over time.
