While they are water-resistant and quick-drying, they are designed primarily for sailing and land-based outdoor activities rather than as dedicated swimwear.
The regular fit provides a standard, comfortable cut that is not overly tight or baggy, designed to offer a balance between style and freedom of movement.
Air drying is recommended to prolong the life of the fabric and technical coatings. If you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting.
Refer to your specific waist measurements and consult a standard size guide to ensure the regular fit matches your preferences.
Yes, these shorts are made using Bluesign approved materials and contain recycled content, reflecting Helly Hansen's commitment to sustainability.
Ensure you are using a delicate cycle and avoid using excess fabric softener, which can build up on the technical fibers.
Check for debris or grit in the YKK zipper track. Gently clean with a soft brush and water, then re-lubricate with a dry lubricant if necessary.
To maintain the integrity of the quick-dry fibers and UPF protection, it is recommended to machine wash these shorts on a delicate cycle. Avoid using heavy detergents or fabric softeners, as these can coat the technical fibers and diminish their wicking properties. Always check the waist fit against your standard sizing, as the regular cut is designed for comfort rather than a slim-fit aesthetic. The inclusion of integrated belt loops allows for further adjustments if a personalized fit is needed.
