Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set the time, gently pull the crown outwards to the first or second position (depending on watch movement). Rotate the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Push the crown back in to secure the setting. The watch comes with a natural leather strap equipped with quick-release spring bars, allowing for easy removal and attachment of the strap without tools.
Compatibility: The 20mm width strap is compatible with most standard watch straps of the same width, offering options for personalization. The watch is designed for universal wear, with the 41mm case diameter suitable for most adult wrists.
Care: To maintain your Timex Waterbury watch, clean the case and crystal with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. The leather strap should be kept dry; if it becomes wet, allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat. For water resistance, ensure the crown is pushed fully in before any water exposure. Over time, the leather strap may develop a patina, which is natural aging. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician.
