Setup, Compatibility & Care
When preparing the fabric, ensure you have sharp, fine-point needles to prevent snagging the taffeta weave. Because the fabric can be slippery, use silk pins or sewing clips to keep layers aligned during assembly. When pressing, use a low-to-medium heat setting to avoid flattening the intentional crushed texture. The fabric is machine washable at 40 degrees, but it is recommended to hang-dry to preserve the finish. Always test your stitch tension on a scrap piece before sewing the main project to ensure the thread doesn't pucker the delicate weave.
