Because this jacket is a technical garment, proper care is essential to maintain its waterproof efficacy. Avoid all standard laundering methods; the manufacturer mandates hand-washing only. Do not use bleach, do not iron the fabric, and do not place it in a tumble dryer. When cleaning, use a mild technical detergent appropriate for waterproof shells and air dry the garment away from direct heat sources to prevent damage to the technical membranes. The jacket is designed to be worn over standard thermal layers and is compatible with most winter ski equipment, including gloves and technical helmets.
