Ensure the floor surface is clean and dry before placing the mat. Check that the PVC base is not damaged. For very smooth surfaces, consider a thin double-sided tape specifically designed for rugs if slippage persists.
This is normal for new coconut fibre mats. Shake the mat vigorously outdoors several times. Shedding should decrease significantly after the initial period.
Direct, prolonged sunlight can cause fading. If used outdoors, consider placing it in a shaded area or rotating its position periodically.
Setup: Simply unroll the doormat and place it on your desired floor surface. Ensure the area is dry for optimal grip of the PVC base.
Compatibility: The non-slip PVC base is designed to work well on most common flooring types including tile, hardwood, laminate, and concrete. It is best suited for flat surfaces.
Care: To clean, shake the mat vigorously outdoors to remove loose dirt and debris. For tougher stains or a deeper clean, use a stiff brush with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow the mat to air dry completely before placing it back down. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fibres and the PVC backing. Prolonged exposure to direct, harsh sunlight may cause fading over time.
