Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Jordan 4 Retro trainers remain in peak condition, follow these maintenance guidelines.
Breaking in your shoes:
New leather sneakers often feel slightly stiff. Wear them for short periods around the house before taking them on longer excursions to allow the leather to conform to your foot shape.
Cleaning:
Because of the white leather and delicate mesh panels, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt. For tougher stains, use a mild leather cleaner specifically designed for sneakers. Avoid submerging the shoes in water, as this can damage the leather and the integrity of the adhesive.
Storage:
Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the white leather to yellow over time. Using a shoe tree can help the trainers maintain their shape.
