Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up the Digitus DisplayPort cable, ensure both your source device (PC, notebook) and your display (monitor, projector) have standard DisplayPort ports. Connect one end of the cable to the DisplayPort output on your source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input on your display. The interlock mechanism on the connectors will click into place, ensuring a secure fit. Your operating system should automatically detect the display.
Compatibility: This cable is compatible with any device featuring a DisplayPort output and any display featuring a DisplayPort input. It supports DisplayPort version 1.2 and is backward compatible with older DisplayPort versions, though features may be limited to the lowest common version. It supports resolutions up to 4K/2K (4096 x 2160 pixels).
Care: To maintain the cable's performance and longevity, avoid sharp bends or kinks. Keep connectors clean; if necessary, use a dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe them. Store the cable away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure the interlock clips are not forced when connecting or disconnecting to prevent damage.
